How to Relieve Lower Back Pain and Strengthen Lower Back Muscles
Once you have received treatment to stabilize your lower back pain, we can add exercises to your routine to help strengthen lower back muscles. This will help relieve that chronic pain over time as your back begins to strengthen.
This is called the Superman exercise.
- Lay on the table or on the floor.
- Raise your arms and your legs up and hold for a count of 10.
- Be sure not to run into any buildings, so turn and pretend to go around buildings. This will engage all the lower back muscles and help relieve lower back pain over time when your back muscles strengthen.
